About Us

We have lived aboard Glory for nine glorious seasons to relax in the Caribbean vibes and escape Minnesota winter. Our secure slip on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands provides a great balance of sailing on and living by the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Glory dependably and comfortably sails us to St. Thomas, St. John and the British Virgin Islands for wonderful adventures and unmatched natural beauty and solitude.

About Glory

Glory is a CSY 37 Plan A, hull number 63, built in 1979 with two state rooms and two en suite heads. Glory has a comfortable and spacious cockpit with high coamings for a secure, dry sail. All lines lead back to the cockpit for ease of sail handling. Closed-cell cushions have enough length for sleeping.  Glory has sailed the Virgin Islands since she was built and has cruised down island and back.

Three easy steps down from the companionway brings you to the galley on starboard, with deep double sinks, a 4 burner stove & oven, and a updated refrigeration.

The aft cabin to port makes into a double bed and has a private head. The cabin includes a hanging locker and 3 drawers. This cabin is at the center of motion, the best place to sleep during a passage.

The salon has an L-shaped settee to port with a table that folds to the bulkhead. The starboard settee can be opened for extra berths.

The forward cabin (King sized V-berth) has a private head, hanging locker, bureau with drawers and ample storage.

There is good ventilation throughout with 6 opening hatches and 10 opening bronze ports to allow the Caribbean breeze to flow through. The flush deck gives plenty of headroom and a spacious feel below deck.

CSY is highly regarded for its heavily laid-up solid GRP hull and deck laminates. Glory is a good sailing yacht - sea-kindly, dry, stiff, easily single-handed, and has good upwind performance.
